These ornaments were designed with nature education in mind. The first set of birds was originally designed for a nature center, but because they were so popular, I found a way to make them available to others. I make all the designs, then have them printed (at a local Marquette business) on 30% post-consumer cardstock and then carefully cut them out by hand, finishing with a twine tie.They can be used as holiday ornaments, gift tags, decorations in your favorite room, or they can be used in education. Most species are native to Michigan, but all of them are likely to be found in some of the surrounding states as well as Canada.
